Natasha rated it liked it Jul 16, Monastic Orders; Part I. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Book comes well “equipped” with footnotes, explanations, sources and all these elements of well thought and scientific approach to writing.
Oldenberg has examined the original teaching of Buddha, shown that the cardinal tenets of the pessimism which he preached are “the truth of suffering and the truth of the deliverance from suffering,” he has expounded the ontology of Buddhism and placed Nirvana in a true light.
